Jazmin Mier

Jazmin Mier, originally from Torreón, Mexico, has 20 years of experience as a Spanish teacher at Dallas ISD. She has had the opportunity to teach all levels to both heritage and monoligual students.

 

Ms. Mier became the Instructional Coordinator for the Department of Foreign Languages ​​in Dallas ISD on 2015. Her expertise are based on providing instructional support to teachers, curriculum implementation and creation, assessments, and professional development. She has also collaborated as an AP Reader for the last 7 years in the AP Spanish Language and Culture exam. Ms. Mier received a double degree from Texas Wesleyan University in Spanish and International Studies, as well as a Master's degree from the University of Salamanca (Spain) in Spanish Language and Culture and Master's degree from the University of Granada in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language.
