As a DLI teacher I believe the Anecdotas program is well suited for the program because it allows students to make connections not only to their other core classes being taught in Spanish but also to current topics going on in the world.

 

It allows them to explore other cultures to "compare and contrast" those cultures with their own.

 

Herramientas para la vida allows them to make community connections and investigate topics that they will need in the future and can already start thinking about right now.

 

It allows them to continue practicing and expanding their oral language, build upon their lexicon and continue expanding on their grammatical knowledge.
